This is a story about Willy, a small sparrow, who's afraid to fly. Of course, there are very few birds who have the same fear as Willy, which makes him feel quite alone. However, given Willy's creative personality, he escapes one day from his first flying lesson, and sets off on an adventure where he hopes to meet the kind of friends who don't depend on flying to get around. He spends a very long, yet exciting, day in the forest but by nightfall Willy is faced with a serious dilemma. But before he can find his way back home to his family's nest, he needs to figure out how to solve the greatest challenge of his life.
This book is for anyone who carries negative beliefs, or myths, about themselves. For the majority of us, our myths were absorbed during our early years, and many became so deeply rooted within us that, in adulthood, we usually aren't able to view ourselves in the absence of them. In a very profound way, they've held us back from living our lives with the kind of fullness and confidence that we might've experienced had we believed the myths were untrue. The purpose of this book is to set you free from your myths so you can design a life that's based on the real you, and not on the one that's lived fearfully, and perhaps with shame, about who you thought you were all along. The program of action that's offered within this book is one that has worked for many of my clients over the years, and it is one that can be equally successful for you!
